Christchurch & Canterbury Convention Bureau's Familiarisation Experiences

The Canterbury familiarisation experiences co-ordinated by the Christchurch & Canterbury Convention Bureau featured as a value added component for the Australian and New Zealand hosted buyers attending the Canterbury Conferences & Events Expo 2010.  The familiarisation programme was an opportunity for the hosted buyers to experience the services and products the Canterbury Region has on offer.

Many of the New Zealand hosted buyers took part in a pre-event familiarisation tour on August 18. It started with a visit to the International Antarctic Centre (including breakfast with the penguins). Pictured in the foyer are (from left) Wendy Cowan, International Antarctic Centre; Brenda Cowles, Franchise Association; Gillian Rule, International Antarctic Centre, and Amanda Cookson, TEO Training.
